Team Amnesty 2013
Story
Join Team Amnesty and make a real difference at this year's Blackmores Sydney Running Festival. Together we are aiming to raise $10,000 for Amnesty International Australia to help protect equal human rights here in Australia and around the world.
Our current campaigns focus on the Rights of Refugees and Asylum Seekers, including Children in Detention. Indigenous People's rights and Women in Afghanistan. Check out our website for all of our other work www.amnesty.org.au
By pulling on your running shoes and pushing yourself out of your comfort zone, you are helping help us reach our target to continue our work.
Whichever distance you choose, get your friends, family and colleagues to dig deep and sponsor your efforts. It's a fun, but gruelling course over the Harbour Bridge, around Sydney's CBD and finishing at the Opera House steps. But doing it for your favourite charity, certainly helps power you on, on race day!
Amnesty supporters believe passionately in equal human rights for all. Every dollar counts, so please aim high with your fundraising and help us reach our target.
This short video is so inspiring, it will have you signing up and pulling on your running shoes immediately.

Activity
Amnesty International Australia
Amnesty International believes in equal human rights for all. Amnesty International Australia is part of the global movement of more than 7 million individuals committed to defending those who are denied justice or freedom. We work in Australia and around the world to stand up to injustice and protect those facing abuse. To do this, we mobilise people, campaign, conduct research and raise money for our work.
