F Cancer. Run a Marathon.
Story
Hi Friends,
I'm taking part in the 2013 Sydney Marathon and hoping to raise money for the Childrens Cancer Institute, with YOUR HELP.
Why the Childrens Cancer Institute?
In 2009 my Dad was diagnosed with an advanced stage Prostate Cancer, and after making a full recovery from the operation we thought he was out of the woods, however it wasnt to be. This year we found out the Cancer wanted a rematch. So now, he'll be undergoing Radiotherapy and then potentially Chemotherapy after that. While I have complete faith in my Dad's ability to to win Round Two, and continue to live a full and happy life, there are many young kids out there who will never get that chance. So please join me as I put on my runners and say F Cancer, by supporting the effort to ease the suffering of all kids living with cancer, and work to rid the world of this curse.
What your donations will go towards
- preventing cancer and finding ways of curing cancer in children through world-class research.
- ensuring the best possible quality of life for children affected by cancer (and their families).
While running a Marathon would be a great achievement for me, it would be an honour to raise money for such a worthy cause, and I’d really appreciate your support to do it.
