Running for Stanley and RIDBC
Story
I'm taking part in the Blackmores Sydney Running Festival 2013 and hoping to raise some money for a cause that is very close to my heart. As many of you know in December 2012 we had our beautiful son Stanley and at 5 days old we found out he was profoundly deaf. We are very pleased to be travelling to Sydney in September this year for Cochlear Implant surgery for Stanley. The RIDBC have been fantastic and have offered a lot of support and information during the last 6 months and there ongoing support whilst we are in Sydney for the surgery and after is invaluable.
This September, I’m going to be sweating it out and doing my best to complete a gruelling course over the Harbour Bridge, around Sydney's CBD and finishing at the Opera House steps...
I am honoured to be a part of this amazing race and helping a great cause, and I’d really appreciate your support in this endeavour.
